Occupation, status with the Temple, if at all, temperament, personality, living situation, whatever you can think of. ^_^ Have fun with it, but please, limit yourself to one post, so take your time and think about it. Also please don't comment on others' entries, thank you and likes are fine.

A Jedi Knight, primary role running the Flight Academy and instructing advanced phases... for a year every 3 years, then a year with an Apprentice doing offworld diplomacy in some corner of the universe (secondary role), then a year to myself or partner in a retreat environment deep in some jungle (break year), repeat. Other requirements can be met by swapping out the secondary role, be they Council duty, lightsaber teaching, library work, research, engineering etc. I'm sorta flexible I suppose, so long as I get to spend a year flying every 3 years :P

Knight ~ introverted extropian, mechatronic neurothealogizing, technogaian buddhist. Likes integration, visualization, elucidation and transformation.

As my 5 year old reminds me ...dad...
Voltron doesn’t fight - Voltron defends.
As I see myself mythologicaly as - I am the defender and the giver. The King and the Knight and the servant and the people.
Any part I can play at any time I thoroughly enjoy. The boss or worker - the spender or the saver... sit with me and chat a bit ? That’s me - that’s my plight in real life - have a drink and let’s talk...sit at my table and eat. That’s me in Myth and in real life.

I would be Prometheus and bear the judgment of the gods for my deeds or Hercules and gladly take on labors for my past or even some day be the father with the prodigal son ... waiting for him... remembering how life was . Tomorrow- I will be me—- who knows who I will seek for strength and wisdom in any time of need- one of the joys of the All Myth- I can learn from any ones story’s and anyone’s past and anyone’s words of wisdom. Be well and thanks for this one !

Most days - I’m doubly glad to be me!

Honestly, just as I am now, and with the same aspirations... just with a bit more of that awesome fictional jazz. A Jedi Guardian, specialising as a weapons specialist with goals of becoming a Jedi Battlemaster.

I'd mostly spend my time training on Temple grounds, helping others ply their craft and perfecting my own. I'd also take on apprentices, preparing them for the rigours of Knighthood. But, of course, to train for life, you have to live it. So I would spend much time adventuring amongst the stars, not on preordained missions but following where the Force brings me and helping those I cross, my legend bringing light wherever I go.

I guess, to a degree, I would also fall into the Jedi Artisian sub-class, not just wanting a lightsabre, but a beautiful lightsabre, a one of a kind work of art alongside my robes. I'm honestly not sure (despite my vast understanding of the fiction) how Jedi get their robes, but I would make my own... and this too would find my artisian skills applied to the creation of beautiful yet intimidating robes. A Jedi can, after all, end conflict just by their presence, and robes befitting such power can assist in such things.

Kyrin is a talented wielder of The Force. She always has been. Her skill is practically unmatched and it is for this reason that the Jedi took her in. She was discovered too late in life for any sort of traditional indoctrination but this did not matter to the hubris of the Jedi. They still thought they could bring Kryin to see their way of thinking. They failed.

During her training years Kyrin began to embrace both sides of the force freely. At first she was open about this. But when the Jedi began to see Kyrins quickly growing power in the light but also in the dark, her masters did all they could to dissuade this behavior. But Kyrin saw something in the darkness that her masters did not. So she continued her practice of the darkness in secret, embracing both sides equally.

Eventually this was discovered. When Kyrins trials came they saw the darkness inside her and they rejected her. So Kyrin left the order in search of the meaning behind her ability to wield both the light and the dark. It was on a small moon near the planet Tython that she first discovered ancient texts that mentioned the Je’daii. She pondered why her masters at the temple had kept this information from her. She had to know more and so she traveled to Tython.

There she learned of the Ancient Je’daii order and of their practice in both the light and the dark. She felt like she had found her place in the universe. She vowed to follow their path and learn as much as she could. She traveled the ancient temples as the Je’daii journeyers had done millennia before. Most were in ruins now but at each she learned as much as she could. She learned that both the Jedi and the Sith had come from this ancient order. And she learned that the stories she had been told about the Sith were a lie.

There had been a growing faction within the Je’daii. This faction had become obsessed with control and they began to neglect the dark side of the force in favor of the light. Others in the Je’daii order thought this was not healthy. That their brethren, now calling themselves Jedi, were drifting to an extreme by embracing Ashla only and ignoring Bogan. The conflict in philosophy escalated. Those against the rising Jedi felt their ideas would unbalance the force. This culminated in the Jedi seizing control of the council and exiling those that opposed them.

Those banished in this schism left tython for a new world. They formed a new order called the Legion of Lato. There they reembraced the old ways and started schools teaching both Ashla and Bogan once again. But the Jedi saw this legion as blasphemous and sought to wipe them out. The Jedi formed an army and waged war on the Legion of Lato. After several battles the legion was defeated and survivors were hunted down and destroyed.

Afterwards the Jedi considered themselves the spiritual successors of the Legion of Lato. But not all of the legion were destroyed. Some survived and rose again under a new name. The Sith! In their need for revenge they had become twisted themselves. Abandoning the light and embracing the power of the darkness alone. They set out on a mission to destroy the Jedi, who had struck first and unbalanced The Force. The internal balance that had once reigned within each Je’daii had transformed into an external balance that consumed each individual either in the passions of hate and lust or the indifference of suppressed emotion and detachment.

Kyrin Eventually left Tython, now a self-initiated Je’daii Ranger, with a mission to teach the true ways of the force, one of balance within not without. She returned to the Jedi to tell them what she had learned but was rejected. So she began traveling the galaxy spreading the word of what she had learned. It did not take long for both the Jedi and the Sith to deem her a danger and begin hunting her. It does not sway her mission however. She continues to fight for true balance in The Force at every opportunity while fighting off the forces of both the Jedi and the Sith who are bent on her destruction.

Kasumi fades into the background a lot. She's happy working in the Jedi Archives, organizing and translating ancient texts. Especially since she tends to be overweight, it's easy to forget that she stands her ground against combat masters. Well, until she is standing her ground against a combat master or running an apprentice through a training sequence for the hundredth time. (Her solo practice is nothing to look at because it often reflects her current studies: taking the same step over and over again to ensure that her weight is correctly distributed or her elbow is at the perfect angle just isn't all that exciting to see, lightsaber in hand or no.)

So why is she working in the library and not out in the field? Because she is, in fact, so happy in battle. The lure of the Dark Side is strong there and she's manifested Dark Side abilities in combat before. So instead she trains and she studies.

I don't honestly know much about the mythology I guess. I haven't even seen all the movies and I haven't delved into any of the other materials. It's cool and all but I'm not passionate about it. So, bearing that in mind...

Maybe... like, where do the children of Jedi go? I'd be on-site daycare worker, lol. I love little kids and it'd be nice to work in a place where I was allowed to share/teach/work from Jedi beliefs and impart them, in age appropriate ways, to children.

In the library, probably, or poking about where I shouldn't be. I like knowledge and being able to devote time to it would probably end up dictating my calling. As much as I would love to say I'd be some great warrior or diplomat, I get the feeling I'd end up being a teacher or researcher first.

I'd be the janitor Jay and Silent Bob theorized years before Finn was cast. I'd go about fixing up the alluvial dampers and whatnot because the merchandising must go on
