I write poetry, mostly sonnets. If i have one talent it would be writing. I will share with you, in my opinion, one of my best works. Hope you enjoy.

Where a thousand suns ignite starry skies.
O'er yonder your eyes cannot perceive.
That a thousand stars erupt in surprise.
Every step is farther than Tel Aviv.

Do you hear the murmurs of love's languish?
It echoes through the passages of time.
But these feelings are farthest from anguish.
And more beautiful than mother of thyme.

But to count you among the wondrous stars,
would surely not be a frivolous feat.
To do so I would battle with Ares,
and likely suffer his spear of defeat.

And to this from Athene she shout victory.
For sacrifice is love's true valedictory.

Side notes:
Tel Aviv: is the second most populous city in Israel, after Jerusalem, with a population of 410,000 and a land area of
52 km2 (20 sq mi). The city is located on the Israeli Mediterranean coastline in central-west Israel.

mother of thyme: Thymus praecox is a species of thyme. A common name is Mother-of-Thyme; "creeping thyme" and "wild thyme" may be used where Thymus serpyllum, normally called thus, is not found. It is native to central southern, and western Europe.
