Thanks Jayden I can create a separate file with just my playing. I was planning on doing that anyway actually, hehe, but I want to work a little on the lead part, make it less messy. I'll let you know when I have something.

That's great Streen! I'm glad you can create a separate track. It will be so much easier in the final mix. I look forward to hearing the final product.

Here we go I hope you like these. I think I made the guitar a little clearer this time, even in the distorted parts. I hear a lot of flaws, but I'm my own worst critic, so I'd just like to hear what you ALL have to say.

Personally, I think if you tried to add vox over the lead it would be too busy... I'd like to hear the rhythm on it's own however.

Yep, I agree I should have said that. I don't think my lead part should be featured in the finished product as much as it is currently. I basically just played as much as I could and figured Jayden, or whoever comes up with the best edit, would use what he felt was necessary.

It's not bad the way it is, it works fine, I'm just one of those "lead to fill out the quiet parts" kinda guys, I mean if you have some clever lyrics and no-one is listening because they are listening to the guitar solo, or likewise some awesome guitar that you can't hear for the guy yabbering over the top of it, just seems like a waste to me.

I posted in the other thread to say I'd happily try to write something lyrically if you want, did you guys see that ? *not sure if this style is really my forte but you never know unless you try right*

**also... was listening to "the path", the intro completely screams out "Zombie" to me, as soon as I hear it all that's in my head is the opening lyrics to that tune (if you don't know it it's by the cranberries.

Just wondered if that was deliberate ??

Thank you Leandros Von for the offer to write some lyrics. Right now Streen and I are trying to develop a strategy to make Jedi Collabs happen. We will keep everyone interested informed even if it means there is not enough interest to make this project happen at this time.

Right now I'm just sharing musical ideas.

If we start with the song My Candle and would like to add lyrics, I would have to restructure it because it was composed as an instrumental.

I like what Streen has done and we might decide to leave it as an instrumental.

As for The Path, lol! It so sounds like Zombie. Oooops! If ever we decide to work on it, the intro has got to go!!! :laugh:

A big element missing right now is a "lead singer."

So to all the new Jedi's that keep joining the Temple of the Jedi Order. If you can sing and are interested in an online musical collaboration, please let us know?

Well, as I told Jayden in a PM, I have a concept for a song that's been brewing in my brain literally for years. I finally decided to work it out, commit to a certain chord progression. I recorded the main parts that I like, so here it is:

I called it "Skyn" because it reminds me of a Lynyrd Skynyrd type of song.
