Jedi Music Collabs

Sounds like a great idea to me! Much more elegant than email sharing! While you're doing that I'll work out a track for my part of things to really get the ball rolling!

I love that Celtic Woman song, Lykeios. I'm a sucker for that kind of "long-time-ago" kind of music. Reminds me of Firefly!

If you need an ocarina, I'm your man. I have an A4-F6 tenor ocarina at the moment but I'll get a soprano or bass in the future.

I'd volunteer my guitaring but I'd hate to show you guys up... I kid, I haven't played my guitar properly in years. Out of practice real bad.

Jedi-themed album sounds frigging sweet. Do we have vocalists? What style of music? Folk? Prog?

We have plenty of vocalists! Haha. Many of them (myself excluded) are very good! Looks like people are pretty excited for a New Age sort of Jedi album with meditative tracks and such. I'd like to do that and also on the side do some folk, rock prog and all that stuff for fun! My thoughts were initially that its just Jedi working together to make music! Jedi-themed work now seems appropriate too, especially seeing how many are interested!

Now I'm editing my own post. It seems to have worked. Not bad I think for a first attempt. Makes me believe this album can be a possibility.

Oh wow! That's great!

Sorry it took so long to get to it, Jayden. I wasn't in a good spot to hear it as its quiet and had forgotten my earbuds. I love it though!

OK, so my mic sucks, and I suck, but I'd really love to do something with "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen. I'd forgotten about that song when I posted my ideas and its one of my all-time favorites.

You may want to keep speakers turned lower for that one, I'm terrible and so is the mic, for real. I did my best for that setup, though. Maybe someone like Hadi could do better with vocals, or one of the girls! Or both! Duo or trio would go nice on that one I think.

Hey Lykeios don't be so hard on yourself and certainly don't give up with your first attempt. While listening to your video I thought to myself you have a good voice.

The problem I noticed is that you were singing out of your voice range. We hear it all the time on American Idol and The Voice... it's all about song selection. Hell I love Led Zeppelin but unless you kick me where it counts, I won't be singing Robert Plant to you anytime soon. :woohoo:

I have so many riffs I know and I'd love to do a song with you singing on it. I can even see you write the lyrics and I sincerely think it's going to sound great.

As our fearless leader Mr. Hadi Apollo has stated a few times, we have time. This won't be accomplished overnight.

Well, I don't know if it was so much out of my range as that just wasn't my day vocally, lol. I can change keys if I have to anyway, haha. So I'm not too worried about that.
