pa.press.net, Updated: 10/03/2010 07:10 Pill refused 'on religious grounds' A pharmaceuticals company has launched an investigation after a woman was refused the contraceptive pill because it was against the pharmacist's religion to give it to her. Janine Deeley was turned away by the female chemist at Lloyds pharmacy in Duke Street, Sheffield, when she went to pick up her routine prescription of the medication. The mother-of-two was taken into a private room by the employee and told she would not be given the tablets on religious grounds but she could come back the next day when a different pharmacist was working and pick them up. http://news.uk.msn.com/odd-news/articles.aspx?cp-documentid=152485709
For those members here, who are aware of events with my enlistment in the US Army, I have some good news. This past Friday, I just passed my phyiscal with flying colors. sometime later on this week or early next week I shall finish my processing for enlistment. At that time I will find out my MOS (job) and ship date for Basic Training hopefully at Ft. LeonardWood, Mo. This past week has been rather quick and the reason for my absence from many things.
I apologize to all the brethren jedi for my absence from the temple website for the last couple weeks. It seemed like everytime I sat down to get any online work done something came up that required my attention. Also, during this time, a hacker tried to hack into my laptop and got a virus through my firewalls. As such, I didn't want it to infect anyone else's system so I had to stay offline until I could have it remooved and verified that nothing on my computer was a threat to others computers or the temple's website. It wasn''t cheap but I finally got to do so and am back and looking forward to picking up where I left off. As for spiritual studies,I motly been working on applying what I know but have been reading in Sacred Journey of the Peaceful Warrior by Dan Millman. A excellent read and in the book it has a chapter in which they discuss the "tower of self"....7 levels releating to the 7 chakras...alot of good informational stuff there about how each level can affect on personality and what the levels were designed to do as well as hints towards ways you can move past each level...When I can get the diagram scanned,I will post it along with a summary of the information they give...I highly recommend all of Dan Millman's books for anyone who is still seeking their path and on the begiinning stage of discovering spiritual wisdom.

He told Sky News: "Ben spotted a children's ride which had a train on it and wanted to have a go because he's obsessed with trains. "When he got on my wife suggested we take a picture of him. "I took the picture on my phone and suddenly this security guard came up and told me it wasn't allowed because I could be a paedophile. "I told him Ben was my own son. But he said I couldn't prove it. He said there is a real problem with paedophiles and that if I didn't like it, he'd call the manager. The picture Kevin took of son Ben at the Bridges shopping centre, Sunderland "A few minutes later a policeman walked in and approached me, so they must have been tracking me on the CCTV. "He said he'd received a complaint that a man matching my description was taking pictures of children and wanted my name and address. "I told him it was ridiculous because it was my own son. He then started asking me what I was doing in Sunderland, asked for my name and address and told me he had the right to delete my pictures. "I got annoyed and raised my voice a bit, then he threatened me with arrest for breach of the peace." The security guard who 'caught' Kevin taking a picture of Ben Mr Geraghty-Shewan was so outraged by the incident, he posted a picture of the security guarde on his website . When contacted by Sky News the Bridges said in a statement: "We take the safety at all our shopping centres very seriously. "We do ask our security guards across the estate to be diligent in implementing our security measures, which includes monitoring photography in our centres. "Unfortunately on this occasion what should have been a simple polite conversation led to a misunderstanding and we apologise for any offence caused. "It is always our aim to implement our security procedures with the minimum of fuss and disruption to our shoppers."
