Re:Reincarnation question 5 Months, 3 Weeks ago
This will come across as being a comedian and in a way it is but

Ive wondered the 'what if' question myself in regard to nuns or monks (of all faiths) who spend their whole life, day in day out - doing what they do in isolation almost waiting to die - I wonder what they think (if they have awareness) when they die and realise 'shit - that was a waste of 70+ years'

Just a thought

A long time ago, there was a man, a better man than I - He was the son of a carpenter - the carpentry business was the death of him - the moral of the tale? Beware the furniture you gather and the crosses you bear.

Re:Reincarnation question 5 Months, 3 Weeks ago
lol i didn't even catch it myself...As to the statement about the nuns and monks living isolated from the world and it being a waster of their lives...I feel that would depend on their reasons for being issolated..were they hiding from life or did they need a place to learn and grow...did they practice being of service to thoe within their closed communities...did they come to a better understanding of God ie the Force,Allah,etc...whatever manifestation they chose to believe in? If so, then I feel their isolated life wasn't a waste but time well spent. However,on the other hand, if they jut hid from life and didn't take the opportunity to learn and grow, then indeed it was a waste.
